Hi, I'm Sushmita Mukherjee

I am Sushmita Mukherjee, a senior global expert with over two decades of experience in gender equality, social norms, and behaviour change communication across South Asia, Africa, and humanitarian settings. Over the years, I have led large-scale programs focused on adolescent empowerment, prevention of child marriage, GBV, SRHR, women’s economic empowerment, and climate resilience—integrating digital media, community platforms, and strong monitoring frameworks. My work has involved partnerships with governments, UN agencies, and civil society organizations, and I have authored several studies, toolkits, and policy papers contributing to global discourse. As an independent consultant today, I bring my expertise in research, program design, capacity building, and policy advocacy to help organizations achieve meaningful, gender-transformative impact.
